2nd ODI India-Zimbabwe today

Harare: In the remaining two-days against Zimbabwe, India are planning to extend their exitance for themselves. KL Rahul’s team will want to take full advantage of Saturday’s batting as India is winning the match between the two nations. The team is looking for a chance to bat the full 50 overs. For this India needs to win the toss or be invited to bat first by Zimbabwe.

On the first day on Friday, India won by 10 wickets and took the lead in the 3 match series. The remaining two matches will be played on Saturday and Monday. In that sense, the first goal for KL Rahul’s team is to win the toss. Despite not being bowlers like Jimmy Anderson or Josh Hazlewood the only test for India is to bat in Harare’s environment.

Deepak Chahar said after the first match, there is nothing special for the bowler on this pitch. There is a call for the batter only in the first hour of play. Before facing bowlers like Sahin Saha Afridi in the Asia Cup, the Indian players will prefer to defy the morning call in Harare.

The work of Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson will be important in this series. However, if Shikhar Dhawan who was slightly injured towards the end of the first match could not play, Ishan Kishan-KL Rahul may get a chance to start the innings to maintain the left-right duo.
