Badminton Queen PV Sindhu win the Singapore Open title, defeated China’s Wang Ji

Singapore 17/07 – India’s PV Sindhu won the 2022 Singapore Open title. Two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu defeated China’s Wang Ji in the Singapore Open Open final. He defeated Wang Ji 21-9, 11-21, 21-15.

Sindhu, ranked No. 7 in the world badminton rankings, defeated Japan’s Saina Kabakami in the semifinals. In the semifinals, Sindhu won 21-15, 21-7 in straight sets. In other words, India’s badminton star easily defeated his Japanese opponent in the semifinals.

It was not easy for Sindhu to lose to Chinese Badminton star Wang Ji in the final. Wang Ji ranked 11th in the world. In the first set, Sindhu took a 21-9 lead. But in the next set, Wang Ji made a comeback. In the second set, Sindh lead 21-11. In the third set, however, there was a fierce clash between the two. However, Sindhu later on lead 21-15 and won the title.
