Ahmedabad: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Tuesday that Rahul Gandhi looks like Saddam Hussein these days, criticizing Rahul, who is leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ of the Congress party in the country.
Biswa Sarma made the above comparison while addressing a public rally in Ahmedabad to campaign for the ‘BJP’ candidate.
Commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s well-chosen visit to Gujarat, Biswa Sarma said, “He has disappeared in Gujarat.” He visits Gujarat as a guest teacher. He has not campaigned in the Himachal Pradesh elections also. He is only going to places where there is no election. Maybe he is afraid of defeat.
He further alleged that Bollywood actors/actresses were paid to join Rahul Gandhi on the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.
Notably, the Congress party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra‘ is entering the Hindi-speaking state of Madhya Pradesh for the first time today. Although the trip arrived in Madhya Pradesh a little later than the scheduled time, almost all its programs will remain unchanged.
