Congress was running the government in Nagaland by remote control of Delhi: PM Modi, Nagaland Election 2023

Nagaland Election 2023: Congress was running the government in Nagaland under remote control of Delhi, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the election campaign meeting held in Chumoukedima district today.

He said, ‘BJP’s mantra’ for Nagaland is peace, progress and prosperity and for this, people’s trust in ‘BJP’ is increasing.

Addressing a joint rally organized by ‘BJP-NDPP’ for the Nagaland Election 2023 campaign to be held on February 27, he said, ‘BJP has suppressed corruption in the North-East with the help of technology. In ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana‘, people are getting money directly from their bank accounts.

Criticizing the opposition, the Prime Minister said, “The Congress leaders of Delhi were not looking at Nagaland, they were never giving importance to the stability and prosperity of the state.” The Congress always ran the government in Nagaland under remote control from Delhi. From Delhi to Dimapur, the Congress was mired in family politics.

He said that the people of Nagaland have faith in the ‘BJP’ government.

Today, the central government is providing free ration to thousands of families in Nagaland. This is possible because we do not consider the 8 northeastern states as ‘ATMs’ like the Congress. In our view, the 8 northeastern states are ‘Ashta Lakshmi’.
