Pakistan Supreme Court declares Imran Khan’s arrest illegal, orders him to appear within an hour

Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan declared the arrest of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and leader of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), illegal. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has surprised everyone by giving such a verdict today. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was arrested on Tuesday. He was arrested from Islamabad High Court. After the case reached the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court on Thursday termed Imran’s arrest as illegal.

In addition, ordering Imran Khan to appear within an hour, the Supreme Court said, “This is the right time to set an example for the future.” Pakistan will not be jailed. The investigation agency NAB has done a lot of damage to the country.

Notably, the PTI appealed to the Supreme Court to quash the decision of the Islamabad High Court declaring Imran Khan’s arrest valid. The petition stated that the High Court’s order was against Article 10A of the Constitution. The decision of the Islamabad High Court is full of contradictions. The warrant issued by the Chairman of NAB is illegal.
