E-Shram Card: Many good schemes are being launched by the central government. Many good schemes are implemented and revised from time to time. Many of these schemes are for Indians who are economically weaker or belong to the poor. E-Shramik Yojana is one of the schemes run by the central and state governments for poor working families. Issuance of E-Shram card is mandatory under this scheme. Due to which the economically weaker sections can get many benefits.
Under this scheme, Rs.500 to Rs.1000 are deposited in the beneficiary’s bank account every month. Apart from this, the main purpose of E-Shram Card is to provide employment to people. Many workers can get benefits through E-Shram Card portal. Migrant workers in the unorganized sector, platform workers, construction workers, domestic workers, street vendors and agricultural workers can benefit from the scheme.
Benefits of e-Shram Card:
1. Workers can get accident insurance up to Rs 2 lakh.
2. Child support for pregnant women.
3. Financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh in case of disability due to accident.
4. Direct benefits of all India labor schemes.
5. 500 to 1000 rupees pension to bank account every month.
6. Financial assistance will be provided for health care.
7. Government financial assistance in construction of the first house.
8. Financial assistance will be provided for children’s education.
9. Direct benefits from all government schemes.
