Tamil Nadu 06/08: Five police officers, including a Special Assistant Inspector, who walked the ramp in a beauty pageant in Tamil Nadu have been transferred. The beauty pageant was organized by modeling agency Mayura in Sembanarkovil town of Mayiladuthurai district.
Contestants from various categories, starting from children to young women and married women participated in it. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest and actress Yashika Anand. Local law enforcement security services were deployed in it. However, 5 police officers present there showed action on the stage in Singham style.
Nagapattinam District Superintendent of Police Jawaghar has taken action against them after this inappropriate disciplinary action. As they participated in the competition while on duty, the said 5 police officers have been ordered to transferred their names.
