Agnipath scheme will change! Modi government can review

New Delhi: The Indian Army is now recruiting soldiers through the Agnipath scheme. But in the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition parties raised the issue of Agnibir’s plan vigorously among the public. Clearly, after the formation of the BJP government, its allies also demanded changes in the Agnipath scheme.

BJP is also seeing this as a reason behind the decrease in BJP’s seats in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. So now the government is considering to amend this scheme.

One and a half years have passed since the implementation of the Agnipath scheme and after one and a half years, the scheme is now being reviewed. According to information received, the DMA, or Department of Military Affairs, has sought reports from the three armies.

According to the information received, there are talks about extending the tenure of 4 years, more recruitment and increasing the retention limit of 25%, although nothing can be said about how much it will be. Apart from this, discussions are also going on regarding training and providing financial assistance to the families of any Agnibir who dies or is injured in the line of duty.
