Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar will start paperless system from next year. Union Minister of State for Health Bharati Pravin Pawar said this on Sunday. He said, “With the introduction of paperless rules in AIIMS, all registration systems related to medical treatment will be amended.” As AIIMS is crowded with more than 10,000 patients every day, it is planned to implement this system soon.
Dr. Pawar Bhubaneswar visited the AIIMS and gave this information to the media representatives after seeing the situation. She further said that serious patients will be given more priority for treatment at AIIMS. General patients are also being shifted to AIIMS from other hospitals. However, discussions will be held with all hospitals not to send general patients here.
He raised the issue of Ayushman Yojana and said that the state government should take steps to implement it for the benefit of the people and the health system. Through this, poor people can get Rs 5 lakh insurance benefits. The central government is giving importance to the improvement of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Center of excellence and satellite centers are going to be established here soon. A rest center will be constructed for the accommodation of patients and their relatives.
On this occasion, the Union Minister inaugurated a multi-purpose building in the AIIMS campus and laid wreaths at the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the campus.
