New Delhi: The Supreme Court has already formed a committee to investigate the incident and people should have faith in the judicial system, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the ‘India Today Conclave’ 2023 on Friday.
To inform, the Congress is demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee to investigate the allegations made in the Hindenburg Report against Adani Enterprises.
On being asked about the complaint against Adani and the secret agreement between Adani and Modi government, Shah said that this issue has nothing to do with our government. The Supreme Court has constituted a committee to investigate the incident and the public should have faith in the judicial system.
Apart from this, he said that there is always a struggle and protest between ‘BJP’ and ‘Congress’, due to which the functioning of the Parliament becomes unstable. According to him, the problem can be solved by the opposition parties discussing and reaching a consensus. Both the parties sit in front of the speaker and discuss. They took two steps forward, we will also take two steps forward. Then the parliament went on. But, they do nothing except press conferences. Otherwise it will not work.
No proposal has come from the opposition party for discussion on our initiative. With whom shall we discuss? He is speaking in front of the media. There is complete freedom of speech in the Parliament. No one can stop you from speaking,” said Amit Shah.
