The Chief Minister recently said that Padmapur will be made a special district. The minister said that there is no proposal to make Padmapur a district.

Giving an example, Naveen said that a bonus of Rs 1,000 will be given in the first phase and Rs 1500 in the second phase. But the central government has imposed 18 percent GST on the Kendu Leaf. Where only 3 percent GST is levied on gold. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asked why it was 18 percent in the polls.
