North Korea fires three ballistic missiles

Seoul: The South Korean military said that North Korea had fired three ballistic missiles into the East Sea this morning.

This is North Korea’s first missile launch after 8 days. In less than 5 days, that is on Monday North Korea released 5 drones in the airspace of South Korea, the South Korean army complained. This was the first such incident after 2017. South Korea was forced to send its fighter jets and attack helicopters to shoot down the drones.

In a statement issued on the occasion of today’s ballistic missiles launch, North Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said, “The South Korean Army has learned that three short-range missiles were launched from North Korea’s Hwanghae Province in the East Sea at around 8:00 local time on Saturday.”

According to Kyodo News about ballistic missiles fire

Kyodo News Agency reported that all three missiles flew at a height of 100 km above sea level and traveled about 350 km.

Notably, North Korea has conducted more than 70 ballistic and cruise missile tests this year. Some experts say North Korea is modernizing its weapons and increasing its capabilities to confront the United States in the future.
