The Intelligence Bureau warned the Delhi Police about the threat of Lashkar and JeM attacks before Independence Day

New Delhi: The ‘Intelligence Bureau’ (IB) has warned the Delhi Police that there is a threat of attacks by ‘Lashkar-e-Teiba‘ (LeT), ‘Jeish-e-Mohammed’ (JeM) and other extremist organizations before Independence Day on August 15.

The Intelligence Bureau’s 10-page report mentions that there is a threat from LeT, JeM and other extremist groups.

Therefore, the IB has directed the Delhi Police to tighten the entry rules in the Red Fort before August 15th Independence Day. In addition some incidents like the attack on former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the Udaipur and Amaravati incidents are also mentioned in the report. Accordingly the IB has directed the Delhi Police to keep a close watch on extremist organizations and their activities in public places.

Pakistan’s ‘ISI’ is promoting terrorist attacks by providing money and other necessities to Pakistan’s ‘Jaish’ and ‘Lashkar’ terrorists. ‘JEM’ and ‘LeT’ are instructed to attack big leaders and important places.
