Gandhinagar: Bhupendra Patel will take oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat today in the presence of many prominent leaders and dignitaries.
After him, about 25 cabinet ministers will also take oath in this swearing-in ceremony.
Leaders in “Bhupendra Patel” oath ceremony
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and other Union Ministers will attend the swearing-in ceremony in Gandhinagar.
Similarly, the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states and their allies will also attend the swearing-in ceremony of Bhupendra Patel. The list includes Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswasharma, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka Chief Minister Basbaraj Bommai, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Sinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
BJP chief J. P. Nadda, senior leader BL Santosh and MPs will also attend Bhupendra’s swearing-in ceremony.
The helipad at Gandhinagar is the venue for taking oath. There are 3 huge arenas. The Prime Minister and his cabinet will sit on the platform in the middle.
200 Saints from the state will sit on the stage prepared on the left side of the main stage. They have been specially invited for this occasion.
Members of all communities are invited as audience, but preference is given to Patidars, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Tribes and women. According to special sources, these arrangements have been made keeping in mind the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2026 state assembly elections.
