New Delhi: According to ‘Bloomberg Billionaires Index’, Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is considered as the third richest person in the world, surpassing France’s Bernard Arnault.

This is the first time that an Asian person has been included in the top 3 of the ‘Bloomberg Billionaires Index‘. Many other successful Asians like Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani and Jack Ma of China’s Alibaba Group were not able to rise to this level.

Gautam Adani, who surpassed France’s Bernard Arnault with assets of 137.4 billion dollars, is now behind America’s Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos in the recent ranking.

Gautam Adani is the co-founder of the country’s leading port operator and coal business conglomerate ‘Adani Group’.

Bernard Arnault is a famous French businessman, investor and art collector. Co-founder, chairman and chief executive of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s largest cosmetics company.

Similarly, Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, is in the 11th place of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with assets of 91.9 billion.
