Patna: Nitish Kumar has resigned from the post of Bihar Chief Minister. At 4 pm on Tuesday, he met Governor Fagu Chouhan and submitted his resignation letter. Along with this, it has been confirmed that the NDA government in Bihar will collapse. Nitish said that all the MLAs and MPs of the party have agreed to leave the NDA.

After resigning from the post of Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar met RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav and is said to have discussed the formation of the government.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is likely to support Nitish Kumar in the state. Party chief Tejasvi Yadav said that his party has 160 MLAs. The party will support Nitish and there is no dispute over division. If the BJP tries to destabilize the Bihar government, it will be given a strong response. According to the agreement between the two parties, Nitish will be the Chief Minister and Tejashwi will be the Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister.

Congress is also likely to be included in this coalition government. Nitish Kumar is likely to go to Delhi soon and meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
