Bhubaneswar, 3/8: BMC will build 50 mini parks. The construction of this park has been approved under the Chief Minister’s Action Plan (Mukta). Park work will start soon. This park will be built with the help of the government to make the city green. This park will be built in different wards of 3 zones of BMC.
35 to 60 lakh rupees will be spent for each park. Self Help Groups (SHGs) will implement the project. The park will be built on half an acre of land. It will have yoga center, track, toilet, guard room, leisure gym, bench, kindergarten etc. This will allow senior citizens to take morning walks. For this, a special track will be prepared in the park.
Similarly, there will be play equipment for small children to play. Various ornamental trees and big trees will be planted in the park. The ward will be converted to green. It has been informed that the tender will be called soon.
