Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik State Police Academy in Odisha, Bhubaneswar has received national recognition as the best training institute among all states. BPSPA received this promotion on the occasion of 52nd Foundation Day of Bureau of Police Research and Development held in New Delhi. According to information, Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Valla presented the Union Home Minister’s Award to BPSPA Additional DG Arun Kumar Shadangi.
Biju Patnaik State Police Academy was adjudged as the best police training institute among all states in the gazetted officer category for the year 2020-21. BPSPA has been given this top rating after considering all aspects like training facilities, methodology, competency of trainers, effectiveness of faculty and development programs.
