Bhubaneswar; An important meeting of the state cabinet was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. A total of 12 proposals have been approved in the meeting. Grant-in-aid has been extended to the private colleges which have been approved by the government. About 15 thousand 771 employees will get the benefit. Among them are teachers and other staff. The state government will bear more than 290 crore rupees per year. However, according to the information, it is going to be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2022.
Similarly approval has been received in other areas as well. Rural piped water supply project in Korei and Bari of Jajpur has been approved. In addition, this project will also be operational in Nayagarh, Malkangiri area. It was discussed in the cabinet meeting that 2 acres will be given for the accommodation of cancer patients. Revisions in OBC Commission, recruitment in Group B departments of the state government and revisions in work etc. were also discussed.
