Chief Minister Security: The security of the Chief Minister will be tighter. A special squad was formed to protect Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Now the Chief Minister will go with a special squad wherever he goes. For this, a total of 26 posts have been created by the state government in various departments. There are two deputy commandants, assistant commandants, inspectors, 4 SIs, two ASIs, two drivers, habildars, 6 constables, two drivers.
The important thing is that some of the positions that have been created will carry guns. And they will be given special training for handling guns. The state government will make all arrangements regarding this. This team will be exclusively responsible for the security of the Chief Minister. Special training will be given to them. The team will be supported by bomb detection team and dog squad. 91 posts have been sanctioned in Naveen’s residence for the Chief Minister‘s security.
This special team will be implemented soon. It has been informed that the recruitment process will be completed soon. CM Naveen Patnaik’s security was tight even before. Now the process has started to tighten it further.
