New Delhi: Popular comedian Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58. He was admitted to AIIMS on August 10 after suffering a heart attack.
The stand-up comedian suffered a heart attack while exercising. He was doing his routine exercise and was on the treadmill when he suddenly fell down. He was immediately rushed to AIIMS hospital suffering from cardiac arrest. Raju Srivastava’s relative told PTI earlier.
Raju Srivastava is known as King of Comedy. He has worked in many films and TV shows. He always makes people laugh with his outstanding comedy. Raju Srivastava started his career with a stage show.
He makes everyone laugh by saying the most common things. Without having to say or do anything, when they saw Raju, the people’s faces burst into laughter. Now fans are shedding tears for him.
In 2005 Raju was seen on the TV show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He became the second runner-up in the show and became known across the country. Later he participated in Bigg Boss season-3. Raju also participated in Nachbalye TV show. Raju has also been seen on The Kapil Sharma Show. Not only that, Raju has also acted successfully in many commercials and various films like Aamdani Athni Kharchi Rupeya, Mey Prem Ki Deewani Hun, Bombay To Goa. Similarly, Raju has been tasked with creating awareness for the central government’s Swachh Bharat programme.
