Har Barik, its managing director, complained online today on behalf of Parvati Gananatya, In the complaint he points out that senior Jatra actor Daityari Panda has signed a contract with Parvati Gananathya for the 2022-23 Jatra season.
He has already taken 60 per cent of his salary, or about Rs 15 lakh in advance. According to the agreement, he is scheduled to arrive in Akhada on June 21 to prepare for upcoming jatra event. But he could not be reached. As the Parvati Gananatya has already taken advance about Rs 50 lakh from various Jatra committees.
Hara Barik said Parvati Gananatya would be a huge financial loss if he did not come. According to Hara, Parvati Gananatya searched his Upada house in Baleshwar and Patia’s house in Bhubaneswar but could not find him. So compelled is he at the door of the police.
