Delhi liquor policy case: ED raids in 35 places

On the 30th, in the presence of Manish Sisodia, the CBI checked his lockers in the Ghaziabad bank. Notably, Sisodia is one of the 15 accused in the FIR filed by the CBI in the liquor policy case.

New Delhi: The ED has started raids at 35 places on Tuesday in the Delhi liquor policy case. ED has started raids at the house of accused Sameer Mahendra. In different parts of the city, ED continues to investigation. Apart from this, the ED is also investigating in places like Gurugram, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has informed the media that the ED team has not reached the house or office of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, one of the accused in the liquor policy case, in the investigation by the CBI. CBI raided Manish Sisodia’s house last month.

On the 30th, in the presence of Manish Sisodia, the CBI checked his lockers in the Ghaziabad bank. Notably, Sisodia is one of the 15 accused in the FIR filed by the CBI in the liquor policy case.

This liquor policy was introduced by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on November 17 last year. Lt. Governor VK Saxena ordered a CBI probe after doubts were raised about the provisions in it. After this, it was withdrawn by the Delhi government last July. But Manish Sisodia has denied this charge of CBI.
