Mumbai: Director Ayan Mukherjee has finally responded to the ‘Boycott Brahmastra’ trend on social media before the film’s release. Director Ayan Mukherjee was very concerned about this film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. But the movie fared better than expected.
In an interview to India Today, Ayan said, ‘We are positive and released the film. My feeling is that in order to be successful in any field, we should keep ourselves away from negative things and focus on our path. All the rumors I heard before the release of the film were haunting me.
My whole endeavor was how can I achieve ‘Brahmastra’. From VFX to other technical work, there was a lot to do. We did them right. We were so busy that we didn’t even get time for interviews before the release of the film. Ranbir and Alia have been attending all the promotional dates before the release. They were sitting and watching the editing and VFX. We were very involved in the film. We were serious about our work.’
