New Delhi: A war between Germany and France next year and a civil war in the US will lead to Elon Musk becoming president, Dmitry Medvedev, the newly appointed former Russian president and prominent ally of Vladimir Putin, predicted this week.
Dmitry Medvedev, Putin‘s adviser on the Security Council, was president of Russia for four years while Putin served as prime minister. The Kremlin announced Monday that he will serve as Putin’s deputy on the Council, which oversees the military industry.
He also mentioned in his list of predictions for 2023 published on his personal ‘Telegram’ and ‘Twitter’ accounts that Britain will join the ‘European Union’ again and that will lead to the collapse of the Union.
Responding to this, Twitter CEO Elon Musk wrote, “In my knowledge, this is the most irrelevant prediction for 2023.” Reportedly, Dmitry Medvedev has praised Musk for his past proposals that Ukraine cede territory to Russia through a peace treaty or, ultimately, that Ukraine merge with Russia.
Since February 24, when Russia invaded Ukraine, Medvedev has played a key role in orchestrating the war. Last week, he also visited China to discuss foreign policy issues with President Xi Jinping.
