Washington: Former US President Donald Trump may announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election next week, his close aide and old adviser Jason Miller said on Stephen Bannon’s radio show on Friday.
President Trump will announce on Tuesday that he will run for president. “It will be a very formal and well-considered announcement,” said Miller on the War Room radio show.
He said that he received a message from Donald Trump that morning. He reiterated that there should be no doubt about his ambition to become the President for the second term.
“Of course I’m competing,” Miller said, echoing Trump’s words. I will compete. I want to assure the public that I have been expelled. Once again the country has to be led on the right path.
Trump is scheduled to announce his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election on Tuesday in Mara-a-Lago, Florida. Trump hopes that the minority public and the mass media will be represented at the announcement.
Notably, in 2016 and 2020, Miller campaigned for Trump and did other work. Even after stepping down from the presidency, he continues to serve as Trump’s advisor.
