New Delhi: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that Meta Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg has called him several times over the past few weeks to apologize. On July 13, there was an assassination attempt on the former President of the United States. After Trump was shot in the ear, a photo of him went viral on social media. Trump said that Zuckerberg has apologized to him for the photo circulating on Facebook and Instagram.

In relation to this picture, Trump said that Zuckerberg apologized to him for censoring the photo. “It was really surprising,” Trump said. It was an act of great bravery. Speaking to Fox News, Trump said that Zuckerberg honored me for that day.

“Mark Zuckerberg called me a several times. He said that he will not support the Democrats this time because he respects me for what happened that day. He apologized to me. “They made a mistake,” he said. They are correcting it. But no one has called me from Google yet,” Trump told Fox News.

Earlier in July, Zuckerberg refused to endorse either Donald Trump or Joe Biden, saying he did not want to run in the upcoming US presidential election.
