Driver’s agitation: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan requested the Chief Minister for a solution
Driver’s agitation Bhubaneswar: Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has reacted to the agitation of drivers in the state. He requested the Chief Minister to intervene.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wrote on his Twitter, “A movement of driver’s friends has been started in Odisha for two days, due to which the movement of common people is seen to be hampered to some extent.” This movement started almost a year ago, not today. At that time, I came to know from the media that the Driver’s agitation was suspended after discussions between the drivers’ union and the government. A few days ago, the friends of the driver repeated the same claim.
Driver’s Friends have and will continue to play an important role in society. These are not untouchables in society. They are one of us. It is not good for the democracy if the state government does not negotiate with him.
I request the Chief Minister to take the demands of the drivers’ friends seriously and discuss with all the drivers’ unions in your presence and find a solution.
