New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids National Herald office after cross-examination of Sonia, Rahul.
ED has already interrogated Sonia three times in the ‘National Herald’ newspaper case. ED questioned Sonia for the third time for 3 hours. Earlier, the ED had questioned Sonia for about 6 hours in the second phase.
The police barricaded outside the Congress headquarters during the first phase of the interrogation due to the fear of the Congress workers protesting against Sonia’s interrogation. However, angry protesting Congressmen broke the barricade and staged a protest.
Similarly, during the second interrogation, Rahul Gandhi was detained by the police during the protest. Along with him, the senior Congress leader was also detained by the police. Son Rahul and daughter Priyanka accompanied Sonia during the first and second interrogation, while Priyanka was seen with her mother during the third interrogation.
