Paris: “Nexta TV” reported that after Argentina took the “World Cup” after defeating France 4-2 in the final match of the “FIFA World Cup Final” held in Qatar on Sunday, riots spread in some cities of France.

According to reports, countless football fans took to the streets in Paris, Nice and Lyon after Argentina won 4-2 in a sudden ‘penalty shootout’.

Videos posted on social media showed chaos on the streets as police officers tried to maintain law and order.

The Daily Mail reported that police used tear gas to disperse the angry crowd.

A Twitter user said a woman was attacked in Lyon while driving past the rioters. Rioters draped in flags threw stones, bottles and arrows at the police. As a result, the police used tear gas and water. Dozens of people have been arrested in connection with the violence.

Government officials told ‘The Daily Mail’ that about 14,000 police officers have been deployed across the country to maintain law and order.
