New Delhi : Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has been elected as the deputy leader of the Lok Sabha on behalf of the party. A letter has been written on behalf of the Congress party to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Om Birla.
AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal posted this on social media. He wrote that Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and requested him to give the post of Deputy Leader of the Lok Sabha. The chief secretary and two secretaries have also given information.
