New Delhi: Controversy over liquor policy in Delhi will not stop. BJP is targeting Delhi Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia with one complaint after another. Meanwhile, the BJP held a press conference again and made serious allegations against Sisodia. In a press conference, the BJP alleged that Chief Minister Kejriwal and Sisodia were taking huge commissions in the new liquor policy. The party has released a video in which a man claims that the Delhi government has taken crores of rupees in commission in return for the new liquor policy. In this video, the person also said that he gave a commission of Rs 250 crore to Manish Sisosdia.
BJP leader Sambit Patra said, the person seen in the video is Kulwinder Marbah. He is the father of Sunny Marbah, an accused in the CBI chargesheet. On the basis of the video, the BJP has alleged that under the new liquor policy, 80 per cent profit will go to the contractors and only 10 per cent revenue will come to government. The BJP said that Kejriwal and Sisodia’s friends were getting 80 percent benefits.
On the basis of the video, the BJP has further alleged that Manish Sisodia told the contractors, “Give us our commission and then you can sell liquor as much as you want”. The Delhi government asked the contractors selling liquor to sell Rs 20 worth of liquor at Rs 80 after giving us a commission. The BJP alleged that the government did not say anything despite the illegal sale of liquor.
