New Delhi: While the sudden death of actress and politician Sonali Phogat has made headlines across the country, the mystery of her death is gradually being lifted. On Friday, Goa Police arrested 2 accused after investigating the case of her death. However, as drugs were recovered from the club where Sonali went, the police arrested the owner of the club. Police seized drugs from the club’s bathroom. So far, the police have arrested a total of 4 people.
The police arrested the owner of the club after questioning him. The Goa Police conducted preliminary investigation and informed that Sonali Phogat had taken drugs. During the interrogation of the Goa police, it was found that Sonali Phogat was given drugs before her death. Goa IG Ombir Singh Bishnoi recently said, “We have started an investigation into the entire incident after finding out that there were injuries on Sonali’s body in the autopsy report.”
Notably, it was reported that actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack last Tuesday. Sonali died while going for a tour of Goa with some of her employees. At first it was said that he died of heart attack, but now the real reason behind the death is being revealed.
