New Delhi: The world’s largest search engine Google has stopped the Google Translate service in China. Earlier, Google shifted the production of its products from China to other countries. Google Translate is one of the few services offered by Google in China, which has now been discontinued.

According to reports, Google Translate has been shut down in China due to low usage. Many Chinese users have posted on their social media about not using the ‘Google Translate’ service since Saturday. They said that the translation feature available in Google’s Chrome browser no longer works in China. Google has issued a statement saying that the service ‘Google Translate’ has been shut down due to ‘low usage’ in China. However, it is not clear how many users in China have used the ‘Google Translate’ service. Google launched Google Translate in China in 2017.
