I am a Chief Minister, should I flee the country? Hemant Soren said before appearing in ‘ED’

Ranchi: I am a Chief Minister, should I flee the country that such a summons is being sent to me, said Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who was going to the ED today.

Hemant Soren told media representatives before going to the office of the ED for interrogation in the case of illegal mining, I am a Chief Minister. Based on the constitutional position. But, as the summons is coming to me, I feel as if I am going to flee the country. I don’t think any politician has left the country except the businessman.

Emphasizing, he again said that the allegations against him are baseless. He said, “I am shocked to see so many complaints against a Chief Minister so easily.”

He further said, “For the last two years, the total revenue from stone quarries in the state is about Rs 750 crore. He has written to the ED.” How are you alleging corruption of Rs. 1000 crore?

He said that this is part of the biggest conspiracy of the ‘BJP’ central government to destabilize the Jharkhand Morcha government.
