Mumbai: There is a huge demand for electric vehicles in the country. The vehicle manufacturing companies are rolling out electric vehicle one by one. Now leading motorcycle manufacturer Hero Motorcorp has also entered this field. The company on Friday launched its first electric scooter Vida V1.
According to a report published in Business Today, Hero Motor Corp has launched 2 variants of its electric scooter Vida V1. One is Vida V1 Pro and the other is Vida V1 Plus.
According to media reports, this electric vehicle was long awaited. This scooter has a removable battery facility. The company had promised consumers to launch a utility electric scooter, which it has now fulfilled. Vida V1 Plus is priced at Rs 1,45,000 while Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,59,000.
Hero Vida V1 would be first launched in New Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur. Deliveries of this scooter will commence from the second week of December.
If we talked about its engine capabilities, the V1 Pro claims an IDC range of 165 km and 0-40 kmph time of 3.2 seconds. And The V1 Plus has an IDC-claimed range of 143km and can hit 0-40 kmph in 3.4 seconds. Both the scooters have a 80 kmph top speed.
