South Korea beat Argentina in the shootout in the quarterfinals

Hockey World Cup: As the last team, South Korea has entered the quarter finals of the Hockey World Cup. In the last crossover match played at the Kalinga Stadium, Korea beat Argentina in a shootout.

Korea won the shootout 3-2. After the game was tied at 5-5 in the regular time between the two teams, the result was decided by a shootout.

Korea is the only Asian team to enter the quarter-finals of this edition. Korea will face the Netherlands in the quarter finals on the 25th. In another crossover match played earlier on Monday, Germany lost to France to enter the quarterfinals.
