Kutra: A truck carrying bananas overturned in a road accident. The rider was screaming. Locals rushed to the spot. But instead of rescuing the rider from the face of death, they busy with carrying banana’s. Some carried it in a bag and some in a sack. Later, the police came and rescued the rider by applying gas cutter and JCB. Such a rare sight of inhumanity was seen in front of Kutra Gram devata Peetha on Rourkela-Sambalpur Biju Expressway.
Two banana-loaded trucks were on their way to the Ranchi from Maharashtra when they stopped the vehicle there at night. However, a trailer came in the morning and hit the vehicle, as a result of which both the trucks overturned and fell on the paved road and the driver of the trailer was trapped inside the vehicle. Hearing the screams of the driver, people rushed to the spot. They ran away with the bananas. But they forgot to rescue the injured rider. It appears that the trailer driver was injured in the accident.
