The process of electing a new president in the party is going on. The deadline for electing a new president has been set for September/October but Rahul is yet to give a clear answer. In response to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s question at the meeting of the Congress Working Committee, Rahul Gandhi said that he would consider the possibility of holding the post of president.
For this reason, the party is also considering the name of Ashok Gehlot. His activity in the party has increased in the last few days. Although Ashok Gehlot does not want to leave the post of Chief Minister of Rajasthan but the brainstorming continues in the party. The party will try to convince Rahul Gandhi.
