New Delhi: The Indian cricket team will tour New Zealand to play a limited-overs series after the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup in Australia. New Zealand cricket announced on Tuesday that the list of three Twenty20 and one-day internationals to be played during the tour was set.
The series will be held from November 18 to 30 this year. Then New Zealand will return to India in January next year to play a limited-overs series. The Indian cricket team will tour New Zealand directly after the Twenty20 World Cup. The Twenty20s will be played in Wellington, Taranga and Napier and the one-day internationals in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch, New Zealand Cricket said in a statement.
The Indian team is now in England to play the fifth and final Test of the series last year. After the Test, India will also play a three-match Twenty20 series against England and a one-match series against England. Then tour to West Indies in July-August to play another white-tie series in preparation for the World Cup. India will travel to Australia to play in the Twenty20 World Cup from there, playing three ODIs and five Twenty20 matches in the West Indies.
