Indian Share Bazar : An increase was observed in the Indian stock market on Tuesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex rose 0.49 percent or 391.26 points to close at 80,351.64. At market close, 18 out of 30 Sensex stocks were up, while 12 were down.
Indian Share Bazar : Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty today closed at 24,433.20 with an increase of 0.46 percent or 112 points. At market close, 32 out of 50 stocks on the Nifty were up, while 18 were down.
Due to the phenomenal growth in the Indian market, the market capitalization has also grown strongly. The market capitalization of BSE-listed stocks closed at Rs 451.26 lakh crore, as against Rs 449.71 lakh crore in the previous session. Investors’ assets have increased by Rs 1.55 lakh crore.
Indian Share Bazar : Talking about the sectoral indices, Nifty Auto recorded the highest gain of 2.15 percent on Tuesday. Nifty Pharma gained 1.56 percent, Nifty PSU Bank 1.23 percent, Nifty Metals 0.08 percent, Nifty Media 0.31 percent, Nifty FMCG 0.94 percent.
