Indian youth team's goal rain: lost to Korea by 11-2 goals

Rourkela: The junior Indian team rained goals in the second match played at the local Birsa Munda Stadium. They dominated the whole match and defeated the Korean opponent by 11-2 goals. With this victory, the Indian team has a 2-0 lead in the 3-match Test series. The final match of the competition will be played on Tuesday.

In the match played on Monday evening, the Indian team attacked from the start. Shardananda Tiwari scored the first goal of the team in the sixth minute of the match. After that, the team scored consecutive goals. Captain Utam Singh, vice-captain Bobby Singh Dhami and Sardanand Tiwari scored two goals each, while Amandeep Lakra, CB Puvanna, Sudeep Chirmako, Aditya Lalage and Rajinder Singh scored one each.

In response, the Korean team was only able to score two goals. Park Hyun and Lim Do Hyun each scored a goal. Notably, in today’s match, three Indian players Amandeep Lakra, Sudeep Chirmako and Cyril Lugun came down to the field. Technical Officer Nishan Jyoti Mohanty supervised the match and Prayas Gaud, Rajkumar Jha, Viswarchan Sdangi and Prafulla Tirki were the major umpires.
