New Delhi: By the end of October, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch 36 satellites of Britain’s global communication network OneWeb. ISRO’s ‘New Space India Limited’ has signed 2 service agreements with OneWeb to launch broadband communication satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

ISRO announced in a tweet on Thursday that it will place 36 of the company’s satellites into low-Earth orbit by LVM3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh under a contract with OneWeb. With this launch, OneWeb will achieve more than 70 percent of its ‘Gen 1 LEO Constellation’ plan. The project of the company is to provide high-speed connectivity services to the government, businesses and general public.

He said, ‘One Web will be the first customer to commercialize the Indian space. He said that many big countries have made rapid progress in the field of space. Sunil Mittal said, “I am sure that through ISpA, more and more international customers will come to ISRO‘s doorstep in Asia.”
