New Delhi: There was a heartbreaking accident in India and the whole world sympathized with India, said India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said.

It is worth noting that after the news of the train accident in Odisha last Friday, he made the above comments in reference to the condolence messages sent by the leaders of the whole world. He said, this sympathy shows how close India is with the whole world.

While addressing the Indian community in Namibia, Jaishankar said, many leaders from all over the world and Namibia’s foreign minister have expressed their condolences. This shows the importance of India in the world.

Earlier, Jaishankar himself expressed his grief for this train accident. He said, I am physically here but my mind is in India. Today’s prayer for the victims of the accident.

Notably, Jaishankar arrived at Windhoek the capital of Namibia on Sunday to enhance the bilateral relations. He was received there by the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Jenelly Matundu.
