New Delhi: The ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra‘ has received immense support from the public and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be the prime ministerial candidate for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, senior leader of the party and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath said. In an interview with PTI, Kamal Nath said that Congress will nominate Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister and he hopes that he will have the support of all opposition parties behind him.
Kamal Nath said that Rahul has made Bharat Jodo Yatra journey very successful and no other leader in the world has done such a long walk. Kamal Nath said that the kind of sacrifice that the Gandhi family has made for the country has not been found in any other family.
Rahul is not just doing politics to gain power, he is doing politics for the common people of the country. “Rahul has always fought to protect the common people from exploitation and corruption,” said Kamal Nath.
In this interview, Mr. Kamal targeted Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. “There is no place in the party for traitors who cheated the party,” he said. Mr. Kamal opined that Congress will once again form the government in Madhya Pradesh and there will be a big disaster for BJP, saying that the people are fully prepared for this. He said that even if the BJP contests the election with a new face after replacing the Chief Minister, it will not make any difference.
