Bengaluru: The prominent Congress leader Siddaramaiah took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka for the second time today, the leading news organization ‘ANI’ reported.

He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at the grand swearing-in ceremony held at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.

Besides, State Congress President DK Shivakumar also took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Before taking oath, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi along with Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar did a ‘demonstration of unity’.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, actor and MNM chief Kamal Haasan, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu were present.
