No new appointments are not possible until the opposition understands this

Kolkata: As the winter session of the West Bengal Assembly continued, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today again lashed out at the Opposition over the issue of illegal recruitment in the education sector.

This morning, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached the Legislative Assembly and while answering a question related to reshan, told the opposition, file a case in the court without hesitation for a trivial matter. New appointments are not possible until the opposition understands this. The government does not even have the money to fight the case in court.

It is to be noted that the ruling party ‘Trinamool Congress’ is getting a big boost as some high-ranking officials of the education administration, including former education minister Parth Chatterjee, are involved in recruitment corruption cases. Besides, the opposition parties are making a big deal out of some minor issues. The leader of the opposition party in the state, Suvendu Adhikari is always asking to go to court for corruption in the state.

Besides, the matter of appointment of teachers in the state is pending before the court. Central investigative agencies like ‘CBI’ and ‘ED’ have conducted investigations into the illegal recruitment process as ordered by the court. The state administration is always appearing in court to hear these cases. Therefore, it is not possible to hire new teachers, said the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, the Leader of the opposition party and ‘BJP’ MLA Suvendu Adhikari also said, “December is very important for state politics. The biggest thief in the state will be caught and sent to jail next month.
