Monsoon Odisha : Monsoon air has entered Kerala today, but it will be delayed in entering Odisha, said Director General of Indian Meteorological Department, Dr. Mrutunjaya Mohapatra.
Informing the media on telephone, he said, Monsoon air has entered Kerala today. Monsoon will spread over entire South India including Kerala and Tamil Nadu after spreading over Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and more areas in next 2 days. It will also enter Northeast India in the next 48 hours and then move towards Central India.
Arrival Update Monsoon Odisha
Monsoon usually enters Odisha around 12th. This time the arrival of Monsoon to Kerala has been delayed by about a week. Now the arrival of monsoon in Odisha is not predicted. But, he said, there is a possibility of monsoon air coming to Odisha late this time.
He further said that it is not possible to say how the monsoon rains will be. The weather forecast for June at the end of May remains the same. The rainfall in July will be known from the forecast towards the end of June.
