New Delhi: The BCCI’s All India Selection Committee has announced the Indian Team for the three-match one-day international series against the West Indies. Big players like Rohit Sharma, Rushav Pant, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Jaspreet Bumra have not been included in the 14-man Team. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has also been named captain for the international one-day series, while Rabindra Jadeja has been named vice-captain.
The Indian cricket team will tour the West Indies after the Twenty20 and one-day internationals to be held in England. There, the Indian team will play three international one-day series. Among the cricketers selected by the BCCI’s All-India Selection Committee for the three-match international one-day series against the West Indies are Shikhar Dhawan (captain), Rabindra Jadeja (vice-captain), Rituraj Gaekwad, Shubhaman Gill, Deepak Hudda, Surya Kumar Yadav, Sreyas Aayar, Isaan Kisan, Sanju Samsun, Shardul Thakur, Yuzbendra Chahal, Akshar Patel, Abesh Khan, Prasiddhi Krishna, Mohad Siraj and Arshdeep Singh.
However, many cricketers have returned to the one-day series. Among them are Sanju Samson, Akshar Patel and Mohammad Siraj. Ishan Kishan and Shubhaman Gill have also been given a chance in the series.
