New Delhi: Javelin star Neeraj Chopra, who was a strong contender to win a medal for India at the Commonwealth Games-2022, has expressed his grief after being ruled out of the Games. He said that he was injured because he could not play in the Commonwealth Games. He released a lengthy statement on Twitter explaining why he will not be able to take part in the upcoming Birmingham Commonwealth Games. He also mentioned how he got injured in the World Athletic Championships.
Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj also set another record for the country by winning silver at the recently concluded World Athletics Championships in Eugenie, USA.
